Abstract

Blood pressure is the force exerted by blood as it is pushed by the heart against the arterial arteries that provide blood to all parts of the human body. This study aimed to determine if there was a relationship between heat stress and physical activity and blood pressure in palm oil mill production workers at PT. Merbaujaya Indahraya Pulo Jantan Village. This research used an analytical survey with a cross-sectional approach is used as the research technique. The research population included 41 productino workers from PT. Merbaujaya Indahraya Pulo Jantan Village. A total of 41 people were utilized in the sample procedure. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate methods. The result obtained a p 0.001 association between heat stress and blood pressure, as well as a p 0.318 relationship between physical activity and bloo d pressure in the production workers. The study concluded that there is a relationship between heat stress and blood pressure in the production workforce and there is no relationship between physical activity and blood pressure in the production workers of palm oil mill of PT. Merbaujaya Indahraya Pulo Jantan Village
