Author Guidelines
Authors who wish to submit their manuscripts to NextGen Innovations in Computing and Technology (NICT) are advised to follow the guidelines below to ensure smooth and efficient review and publication process. Submissions that do not comply may be returned without review.
1. Scope of the Journal
The journal accepts original research articles, review papers, and short communications in the fields of computing, artificial intelligence, embedded systems, smart technologies, and digital innovation. Please ensure your paper fits within the journal’s Focus and Scope.
2. Manuscript Structure
Manuscripts should be written in English and include the following sections:
- Title: Concise, clear, and informative
- Abstract: 150–250 words, summarizing the background, methods, results, and conclusions
- Keywords: 3–6 keywords separated by semicolons
- Introduction: Background, research gap, and objective
- Methods: Data, tools, and methodology used
- Results and Discussion: Main findings and comparative analysis
- Conclusion: Summary, implications, and future work
- References: Follow IEEE or APA 7th style (consistency is required)
3. Formatting Guidelines
- Manuscript should be typed using MS Word (.docx)
- Use single column layout, 1.15 spacing, Times New Roman, 11 pt font
- Figures and tables must be numbered and captioned clearly
- Equations should be editable and numbered sequentially
- All citations must appear in the reference list and vice versa

4. Submission Process
Manuscripts must be submitted via the online submission system through the journal’s website. Authors must register and log in before submitting their work. The corresponding author will receive all communication related to the submission.
5. Ethical Considerations
All submissions must comply with the journal’s Publication Ethics. Plagiarism, data fabrication, multiple submissions, and copyright infringement are strictly prohibited. Manuscripts are checked using plagiarism detection tools (e.g., Turnitin).
6. Article Processing Charges
NICT currently does not charge any article submission or publication fees. The journal is fully open access and free for both readers and authors.
7. Copyright and Licensing
All articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0) . Authors retain copyright and grant the journal permission to publish and distribute the work.
