Author Guidelines
Jurnal Manajemen Bisnis dan Pariwisata (MANBISPAR) accepts original and unpublished manuscripts. Authors must declare that their submission is not under review elsewhere and contains no elements of plagiarism.
The journal welcomes the following types of contributions:
- Research Articles – present empirical or theoretical research findings.
- Conceptual Papers – offer original perspectives, frameworks, or theoretical developments.
- Book Reviews – must discuss books published within the past year (Indonesian) or two years (foreign), 3–5 pages long, and include a scanned book cover image.
Manuscript Requirements
Manuscripts must be written in English using academic style and structure, submitted in Microsoft Word format (.doc, .docx, or .rtf; PDFs are not accepted).
- Paper size: A4, narrow margin (default)
- Font: Constantia, 12 pt
- Line spacing: 1.0
- Word count: 3,000–7,000 (including tables, figures, and references)
Manuscript Structure
Abstract: 120–150 words in English or Bahasa Indonesia, followed by 3–5 keywords.
Introduction: Explain background, literature review, novelty, research gap, and objectives. Avoid excessive citations except to establish the novelty or research context.
Methods: Describe research design, data sources, and methodology clearly. Literature-based papers may integrate the method into the introduction.
Results and Discussion: Present findings using tables, charts, or figures with analytical discussion linked to existing studies. Follow logical reasoning and structured flow.
Conclusion: Summarize key findings answering the research questions concisely without repetition.
Notes (if applicable): Include only for specific clarifications that cannot fit into the main text.
References: Must match all in-text citations and follow APA 7th Edition. Use Mendeley, EndNote, or Zotero for reference management.
Citation and Referencing Guidelines (APA Style)
- In-text citation: Use author-date format. Example: (Smith, 2010, p. 25); (Johnson & Laura, 2009, p. 10); (Ritzer et al., 2008, p. 110).
- Consistency: All cited works must appear in the References list, and each reference must be cited in the text.
