Plagiarism Check

The Journal of Intelligent Control and Electrical Engineering (JICEE) is firmly committed to maintaining academic integrity and publication ethics. All submitted manuscripts will undergo a thorough plagiarism screening process before entering the peer review stage.

1. Plagiarism Detection Tools

JICEE uses reputable plagiarism detection software such as Turnitin, (iThenticate), or equivalent systems to check for similarity and potential plagiarism.

2. Acceptable Similarity Threshold

Manuscripts with a similarity index higher than 25% (excluding references, quotes, and bibliography) will be returned to the authors for revision or may be rejected immediately depending on the severity of the overlap.

3. Author Responsibilities

  • Authors must ensure that their manuscript is original and free of plagiarism.
  • Proper citation must be provided for all borrowed ideas, figures, and texts.
  • Self-plagiarism and redundant publication are strictly prohibited.

4. Editorial Policy on Plagiarism

If plagiarism is detected during the review process, the manuscript will be rejected immediately. If plagiarism is found after publication, the article will be retracted and publicly marked as retracted on the journal website, in accordance with COPE Guidelines.
