Ref. Management

All authors submitting manuscripts to the Journal of Intelligent Control and Electrical Engineering (JICEE) are required to ensure proper citation and formatting of references. The journal adheres to the IEEE referencing style, and authors are encouraged to use reference management tools to simplify citation and formatting.

1. Citation and Reference Style

JICEE uses the IEEE Style for in-text citations and reference lists. References must be numbered in the order of appearance and listed accordingly at the end of the manuscript.

Example: In-text: [1], [2], [3] In the reference list: [1] A. Author, "Title of article," Journal Name, vol. x, no. x, pp. xx–xx, Year.

2. Recommended Reference Management Tools

  • Zotero – Free, open-source reference manager
  • Mendeley – Elsevier's reference tool with PDF annotation
  • EndNote – Advanced features for large-scale research (paid)
  • JabRef – Especially for BibTeX users (LaTeX)

3. Reference Quality and Relevance

  • Minimum of 15 references are required for each article.
  • At least 80% of references should come from journals indexed by Scopus, Web of Science, or other reputable databases.
  • Self-citation should not exceed 20% of total references.

4. Plagiarism and Citation Accuracy

Proper citation is essential to avoid plagiarism. All sources cited must be relevant, up-to-date, and correctly formatted. Authors are responsible for the accuracy of their references.
