Journal of Intelligent Control and Electrical Engineering (JICEE) follows the best practices in publication ethics based on the guidelines set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All parties involved in the publication process—editors, authors, reviewers, and the publisher—must agree to these ethical principles.

Responsibilities of Authors

  • Ensure all authors listed contributed significantly to the research.
  • Disclose any financial or personal conflicts of interest.
  • Cooperate in peer review and respond to comments professionally.

Responsibilities of Editors

  • Make publication decisions based solely on academic merit.
  • Maintain confidentiality of submitted manuscripts.
  • Ensure a fair and unbiased peer-review process.
  • Act on suspected ethical misconduct or complaints fairly and promptly.

Responsibilities of Reviewers

  • Provide objective, constructive, and timely feedback.
  • Avoid personal criticism and maintain confidentiality.
  • Disclose any conflict of interest and decline reviews if biased.
  • Report any suspected ethical issues or plagiarism to the editor.

Responsibilities of the Publisher

  • Support editorial independence and uphold publication integrity.
  • Ensure accessibility, archiving, and long-term preservation of articles.
  • Investigate and take action on reports of research misconduct or retraction needs.
